RRB NTPC 2019: RRB NTPC Eligibility Criteria
Candidates planning to appear for the exam must have knowledge of the eligibility criteria of the respective posts. They must ensure that they fulfill the criteria for the post they want to apply for.
Educational Qualification: The educational qualification for RRB NTPC posts are as under:
- a. Candidates who have completed their graduation in any discipline from any recognized university can apply for RRB NTPC Graduate posts. For Undergraduate posts, candidates must have passed 12th Class (10 + 2) or equivalent from a recognized board.
- b. Candidates must be proficient in typing.
- c. Candidates applying for the post of Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist, and Senior Time Keeper must have a typing speed of 30 words per minute in English and 25 words per minute in Hindi.
Age Limit: The minimum age required for candidates to apply for RRB NTPC jobs for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate posts is 18 years. The upper age limit is 33 years for Graduate posts and 30 years for Undergraduate posts (as on 1st July 2019). There is an age relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates, 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for ex-serviceman.
